If your identification, credit cards or ATM cards have been lost or stolen, it is also a good idea to inform the credit bureaus of Equifax and Transunion. They can add a note to your file that you have lost or stolen cards and may be a victim of fraudulent activity. Contact Equifax at 1-800-465-7166 and Transunion at 1-800-663-9980.
